Norbert sales up 26 per cent

Norbert Dentressangle’s sales for 2011 were 26 per cent up on the previous year at 3.6bn euros (£3bn). The logistics division saw the strongest growth rising 28.2 per cent to 1.6bn euros (£1.3bn) while the transport division sales were up 20.2 per cent to 2bn euros (£1.6bn). Logistics operators cut greenhouse gas emissions

Logistics operators are on course to meet their voluntary greenhouse gas reduction targets, according to the second annual report of the Logistics Carbon Reduction Scheme. 17pc profit rise for UPS

UPS has reported a 17 per cent rise in adjusted operating profit to $2bn for the fourth quarter of 2011. Sales rose six per cent to $14.2bn. Fashion retailer opts for 3PL warehouse

Stobart planning approval for Magna Park depot
