Torque introduces new embroidery service

Torque’s imaginative and unique approach to providing its clients with a truly comprehensive ‘end to end service’ is further underlined with its latest investment – a state of the art embroidery centre, the only company in its sector to do so. Adding a new dimension to its existing services for its fashion portfolio, this machine opens up a whole new area of business for this entrepreneurial logistics provider.

Torque was confident that its substantial investment in this new equipment with its purpose built centre would reap impressive rewards and its faith in this new concept has already been justified with firm orders from a number of key clients which include a bespoke menswear outfitter, premier league football clubs, a prestigious car manufacturer alongside a lot of interest from various design/fashion houses and financial institutions.

The embroidery centre is completely versatile and can process basic logos through to elaborate designs. It can also cope with a lot more than simple soft fabric like tshirts – it can actually embroider anything that fits on the pantograph – even football boots – something that has already been tried and tested!

The capability of the operation is awe inspiring. With 1,000 stitches per minute per head, it means that if the Torque embroidery team were processing a ‘one thousand stitch’ logo and running the machine 24/7, in the next 12 months it could turn out over 3 million items.

Developed by a well established, German manufacturer, the embroidery machine features highly advanced user friendly software with editing facility. But any machine is only as good as its operators and Torque is equally and justly proud of its fully trained experienced team.
