Another award for Palletforce member White Logistics’ new look

May 08, 2012

Palletforce member White Logistics has won a second design award for totally transforming its branding. The family-run haulage firm received the gold award in the Best Corporate Rebrand category at the Transform Awards – Europe’s only awards dedicated to celebrating best practice in rebranding, repositioning and brand transformation.

“Our new brand has not re-invented White’s – it has told our story in a clearer and more compelling way,” said Judith Stracey, Managing Director at White Logistics. “We launched the new brand in March 2011 and have had nothing but positive comments from our existing customers. It has helped us strengthen customer and contact relationships, and we have already seen an impact on sales. We are confident of an increase in growth as a result of our brand development and we are proud to link our brand with the strong Palletforce brand.”
Last year White Logistics, which is a member of Palletforce – the UK palletised distribution network, also won the Rebrand category at the Marketing Design Awards and was shortlisted for the Livery of the Year at the Motor Transport Awards. The Pershore-based company underwent a radical rebranding exercise in early 2011 after working with design agency The Allotment, with support from The Design Council.
Its trucks now feature an eye-catching monochrome design with brain teaser puzzles on the back to build on the firm’s new tagline ‘problem solved’. The rebranding also extended to the White’s uniforms, logo and website. This month White Logistics invested in five new trucks – one 18 tonne, two 12 tonnes and two Artics – in the new livery after gaining two new major clients since the new year.
“We are well-established in the horticultural world as specialists in transporting plants, and our reputation as a ‘can do’ company providing quality service is continuing to help us attract new customers, including two big firms in the past few months,” said Will Stracey, Commercial Director at White Logistics. “White Logistics has created an impressive, memorable brand that really drives home the message that it is a company that gets the job done,” said Palletforce Sales and Marketing Director Dave Holland.
