BKG Transport joins United Pallet Network

United Pallet Network (UPN) has welcomed a new member to its pallet network with palletised BKG Transport joining the fold.

Salisbury, Wiltshire-based BKG was founded more than 30 years ago and was a UK Pallets member before its switch. According to DVSA records, it holds an O-licence for up to six vehicles and eight trailers.

A spokeswoman for UPN said the recruitment was part of the network’s growth plan, suggesting the new member was an addition rather than a replacement for a departing member. “We are adding to the network regularly, we have had four join in the last month,” she said.

Tony Gover, director of BKG, added:  “BKG has worked with other pallet networks previously and recognise the benefit they bring to members and customers alike.  We are absolutely delighted to be moving forward with UPN at this exciting time“.

Andrew Spencer, director of UPN, said: “BKG is a great fit for the network and already proving to be an asset”.

UPN recently started work to expand its central hub capacity.
