We are expanding… again!

In December 2011 IBCS relocated from Darnall in Sheffield to larger more modern premises on Hellaby Industrial Estate just outside Rotherham. The business has benefitted from more warehouse space for stock, training facilities for our customers, and staff, large offices and improved transport links, being only a short distance from the M1 and A1 M18.


Since moving to the new premises not only has there been substantial growth of the business, but we have also achieved Safe Contractor status, and have become ISO 9001accredited.

In 2014 we are celebrating our 30th anniversary, and just two and a half years since our last move, we are once again moving into larger premises. This allows us to continue to increase our stock levels and product ranges which means, our customers are offered a choice of solutions which can be delivered promptly, whether it be sales, service/repairs or hire.

During the last 30 years IBCS has grown to be one of the largest, and most successful providers of service, and products to the forklift truck industry. Our success can be attributed to the following factors:

Independence: IBCS are totally independent which means we are able to offer our customers the correct solution to meet their needs.

Products: At IBCS we pride ourselves in offering high quality products, from longstanding established suppliers. We stock a full range of batteries, cells, chargers and ancillary equipment and parts. We are the UK distributor for Fronius chargers, offering the most advanced battery charging techniques currently available.

Service: IBCS can offer nationwide service by fully trained battery and charger engineers, with same or next day response to ensure our customer’s equipment is kept moving, minimising disruption to their business.

People: IBCS has a wealth of experience on hand, which means we can offer assistance, and provide independent advice to our customers. We have recently increased our salesforce to cope with demand, and further develop our business.

Technology: Our service engineers are equipped with the latest mobile devices which allow our service team to gather and communicate data and images in real time. The ability to provide our customers promptly with a completed job sheet along with photographs where appropriate is of great benefit to our customers.
