A Sheerness transport firm specialising in heavy goods haulage has entered creditors voluntary liquidation owing businesses more than £760,000.

Insolvency practitioners at Abbott Fielding were appointed to LVH Haulage on 12 February by members and creditors after a resolution was passed to wind it up.

According to DVSA records, the company withdrew its application for an O-licence in 2012, although its website said it had access to a 30-strong fleet, including low loaders, 44-tonners and 10-20 tonne HIABs.

As well as transporting specialist steel products, imported timber and bespoke concrete products, LVH Haulage also offered customers more than 15,000ft² of warehousing space and employed in excess of 50 staff at various locations.

It was also a member of London’s Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme.

Director Steven Heard, who is listed as director of seven companies, including company creditors RPJ Transport and CTR Tipping Services, did not respond.

Insolvency practitioner Nedim Ailyan was unavailable for comment.
