Manheim revamp commercial vehicle management team

Automotive auctioneer Manheim has created two new senior management positions for its CV operation as part of a reorganisation.

Mark Spavins, who arrived as part of the EVS Online acquisition last year, becomes business development director, LGV, and Matt Davock (pictured) moves from his role as commercial manager and auctioneer at Haydock to become the head of light CVs.

The reshuffle also sees Brian Rossington move from his national LGV and plant manager role to business development manager for LGVs. However, this restructure led to two regional LCV managers being made redundant, explained James Davis, who remains as overall director of Manheim’s CV operations.

“In the last few weeks, we’ve taken the opportunity to look at the evolving CV market and made some important changes to our structure,” he explained.

“This ensures we’re fit and ready to deliver even better service levels in 2014.”

He continued: “Looking ahead, we are committing more resources to our growing LGV operation, investing further into our rapidly expanding online offering and placing even more emphasis on driving our light CV business.

“This ethos can be clearly seen at both head office and at the auction centres, with an even greater emphasis on service delivery and buyer engagement.”

Manheim’s aim in 2014 is to further enhance its light CV offering and make a significant commitment to becoming market leader in the LGV remarketing sector, Davis added.
