Drivers’ hours rules still talking point at CV Show 2012

  • By Commercial Motor

Despite coming into force in October last year, the amended one minute rule for drivers’ hours will still a big talking point at the CV Show, according to Stoneridge (stand 3D28).

The tachograph manufacturer will be showing the latest version of its SE5000 Exakt digital tachograph that not only enables drivers to maximise legally their driving time but is also ready to accept the second source of motion that will be required from October 2012.

The new SE5000 Exakt helps drivers to manage their driving hours in real-time, ensuring they stay within the law while enabling them to use every minute they are allowed.

Also on show will be Stoneridge’s Optac3 tachograph analysis software suite, available on flexible pay-as-you-go terms so operators only pay for what they use, and the new dual function Arena 250 roller brake tester that doubles as a brake tester and tachograph calibrator.
